As a Industrial & UX Designer, you will lead the design of user-facing hardware components such as chargers, accessories, and external system elements, while also supporting UX/UI design and prototyping for clinician and patient software interfaces.
You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market, making a tangible difference in people´s lives worldwide.
Your profile
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the industrial design of external product components, including chargers, accessories, and other patient- or clinician-facing hardware.
- Create, iterate, and document physical concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes; coordinate external prototyping partners when required.
- Conduct user-centered design activities to understand user needs, workflows, pain points, and mental models.
- Develop and test hardware and software prototypes to support product decisions and usability evaluations.
- Design and prototype digital user experiences for clinician and patient applications in collaboration with Product and Software teams.
- Ensure consistency across physical and digital experiences, creating a cohesive product ecosystem.
- Support formative usability studies by rapidly translating feedback into design improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Human Factors Engineering to ensure designs support usability, risk control, and regulatory objectives.
- Contribute to the definition of INBRAIN's design language and user experience principles across products.
Mandatory Qualifications and Soft skills:
- Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or Design Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in similar positions of Industrial and UX Design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating physical product development, form-factor exploration, prototyping and design-for-use considerations.
- Ability to design user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for software interfaces.
- Ability to connect physical product touchpoints, digital interfaces, clinical workflows and technical constraints into one coherent user experience.
- Experience with CAD and Solidworks.
- Fluency in English required (English is company language).
- Proactive, inquisitive, and comfortable identifying gaps, asking clarifying questions, and improving ways of working.
- Creative mindset and critical thinking.
- Clear communicator, structured, detail-oriented.
- Collaborative working style.
Nice to have:
- Experience in medical devices is a plus.
