Project Manager (with Medical devices experience)

INBRAIN harnesses the extraordinary material properties of Graphene, the world’s thinnest and nobel-prize winning material, to build high resolution neural systems. Our mission is to decode and modulate neural networks to restore people's lives.

Since this is a major mission, we needed a major partner. Our INBRAIN subsidiary INNERVIA has an ongoing 4 year collaboration with Merck KGaA to decode and modulate the Vagus nerve in high resolution and deliver therapies in areas of interest for Merck at the peripheral nervous system level.

As a Project Manager at INBRAIN, you will play a key role in transforming innovative ideas into life-changing medical devices that enhance patient care and outcomes. Your mission is to lead and drive complex projects within the healthcare industry, ensuring that every stage—from concept to market launch—is executed with excellence, precision, and adherence to the highest industry standards.

You will be at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare solutions to market, making a tangible difference in people´s lives worldwide.
Your profile

Main responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the project plan, tasks,resources and budget.
  • Define project coordination structure and communication plan.
  • Define and prioritize the development tasks, oversee and take part in the development tasks, as appropriate.
  • Lead planning, and management of critical initiatives across the development team to achieve their performance schedule and cost targets.
  • Liaisewith the Technical Lead tomanage the sub-contractors within the project.
  • Facilitate smooth interface and communication between the project team and other functions of the organization.
  • Promotes high quality delivery, while complying with procedures and regulations.
  • Support the development and deployment of best practices in the identification of risks to quality, new product introduction, to production and initiate preventative steps in the project to mitigate these risks.
  • Support continuous improvement, cost, quality and efficiency in the project and business.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
  • Organizing and leading project team meetings to discuss progress, risks, and next steps and following up on the actions.
  • Reporting project status updatesto the team and management.
  • Supporting the Program Manager infacilitatingcross-functional and management team reporting.



Mandatory Qualifications and Soft skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the medical device industry and at least 3 years of project management experience.
  • A track record of project management execution in MedTech.
  • Healthcare experience in the development of medical devices.
  • Prior experience working for a MedTech company whose products and processes are CE and FDA-regulated.
  • Fluency in English is required (English is the company language). Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Energetic person, a real Team Player who enjoys technical challenges, with an analytical mindset.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership experience in working with cross-functional geographically dispersed (remote) teams on complex projects.
  • Excellent written, interpersonalcommunicationand presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information to other functions of the business.
  • A self-starter, able to deliver the work required to advance the project with a minimal amount of direction.
