This includes creating and refining the Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Processes (BOP), manufacturing equipment specifications, testing protocols, and manufacturing recipes.
  • Develop and optimize Through-Glass Via (TGV) processes, including drilling, filling, and metallization.
  • Lead wafer bonding process development, ensuring high yield and strong bond strength for multi-layer glass and semiconductor structures.
  • Drive the laser forming of glass for precision shaping, cutting, and structuring of wafers.
  • Support pick-and-place process development for precise assembly of components, including die placement and microelectronic packaging.
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors to support equipment bring-up, qualification, and production readiness.
  • Implement process control methodologies (SPC, FMEA) to monitor and improve process stability, yield, and repeatability.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to improve yields and reduce waste.
  • Document process flows, work instructions, and risk assessments to ensure processes are well understood and reproducible.
  • Work closely with automation engineers to integrate process automation for improved efficiency and consistency.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring processes are production-ready and scalable.

Mandatory Qualifications and Soft skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
  • 3+ years of experience in microfabrication process development, particularly in glass-based technologies
