This position will be office-based in Bellaterra.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various items of machinery toward the fabrication of the devices: RIE, optical microscopy, wet etching, Autoclave, photolithography, etc.
- Record inspection data, write reports, and notify supervisors of irregularities; ensure the quality of outgoing products following guidelines.
- Carry out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies.
- Provide all the required technical support to enable the manufacturing to function effectively. Execute duties within good practice laboratory (GLP), and good manufacturing practice (GMP) protocols and follow personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures.
- Work in compliance with SOP specifications, work instructions and established recipes
- Keep equipment calibrated and in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of waste
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced and that everything is clearly and correctly labeled
